This Privacy Policy explains how Weekframe collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use Weekframe.

Weekframe is a date-based note workspace. Notes are organized by date and channel, and users may collaborate through shared channels, comments, files, and related account features.

By using Weekframe, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal data, and you should not store sensitive personal data in Weekframe unless you understand the risks and choose to do so.

Legal bases for processing

If the GDPR applies, we process personal data using the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide Weekframe and the features you request
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, improve, and protect Weekframe
  • Consent: where we ask for your permission, such as optional communications or optional features
  • Legal obligation: where we must process data to comply with applicable law

Notes, channels, comments, and files

Weekframe is built around notes that belong to dates and channels.

When you create or interact with notes, we store the information needed to show those notes correctly, including the note content, title, delivery date, channel, author, comments, file metadata, and related activity.

If you are a member of a shared channel, other members of that channel may be able to see notes, comments, authorship, and files in that channel depending on their permissions.

Your Personal channel is intended for your own notes. Shared channels are intended for collaboration with other users.

Attachments and uploaded files

If you upload files to Weekframe, we store those files and related metadata so they can be attached to the correct note.

Uploaded files may include personal data if you choose to include it. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload and share any files you add to Weekframe.

We may limit file size, file type, or file access for security, performance, or abuse-prevention reasons.

Cookies and local storage

Weekframe may use cookies and similar browser storage to keep the service working properly.

This may include:

  • Authentication and session cookies
  • Security cookies
  • Theme preferences
  • Timezone preferences
  • Other settings needed to provide the service

Some cookies are necessary for Weekframe to work. Optional cookies, if added later, will be handled according to applicable law.

Timezone information

Weekframe uses timezone information so notes appear on the correct dates for you.

We may store your timezone in a cookie, such as weekframe-time-zone, so the dashboard can show date-based notes correctly.

This helps Weekframe decide what counts as today, tomorrow, and upcoming days for your account.

Email and notifications

We may send emails or notifications related to your account and the service.

This may include:

  • Account emails
  • Security emails
  • Invitation emails
  • Note or channel-related notifications
  • Important service updates
  • Support replies

You may be able to disable certain optional notifications in your account settings. Some essential security or account emails may still be sent.

Feedback and support

If you send feedback, bug reports, support messages, or other communications to us, we may process the information you provide.

We use this information to:

  • Respond to you
  • Understand and fix issues
  • Improve Weekframe
  • Keep records of support and feedback

Do not include sensitive information in feedback or support messages unless it is necessary.

If personal data is transferred internationally, we aim to use appropriate safeguards where required by law.

These safeguards may include contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Children

Weekframe is not intended for children who are too young to use online services under applicable law.

If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate permission, we will take steps to delete it where required.

Automated decision-making

Weekframe does not currently use personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
